I won't give up, no I won't give in
[8. 8 people were dead. Three victims, three killers, and two rule breakers.
By now, late Tuesday night, Judy had had about enough. It wasn't quite curfew, maybe about a half hour before the clocks would chime, but a lot of people seemed to go to bed early these days. Either exhaustion from everything catching up with them, or fear that they'd be next if they didn't stay in their rooms. If Judy was smart, she'd do the same.
But she didn't know when to quit.
With purpose, Judy slipped out of her room and went to room number 7. Soundproof rooms meant that no one would hear her knocking on the door a few times, then knocking again with urgency if Nick waited too long to open up.]

He wants to say something about it, though. Maybe he could ask for more details or tell her that she's wrong or awful for saying something like that.. maybe he could accept her apology even though she hadn't out-rightly apologized... but well. Honestly. He's not sure what to do without the full context.. he's pretty upset to hear that, but he can't really afford to show it at this point and time, either.
So he just.. starts to drag some of her papers over to look them over, as if that was the whole reason he wanted up there in the first place.]
Wow... that badge isn't fake after all, huh? If a piece of cheese started growing mold, you'd probably be the first to know.

Judy exhales like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders, lifting a paw to rub at her forearm.]
It pays to be thorough. But I still don't feel like I have enough. It's like there's something always missing.
