[Upon seeing someone approaching his cage, Karamatsu had gotten very excited. He immediately started yowling and clambering all over himself, trying to mash his paws, face, side, whatever he could up against the bars to get Ichimatsu's attention. Since he'd been mistaken for a cat, he really hasn't been let out as often as a baby tiger normally should. The cage is almost too small for him and he's so antsy all the time that the prospect of getting out- even for a second- makes him want to try and paw at Ichimatsu through the bars.
In fact, that's exactly what he's doing now, reaching one forepaw through the bars and pawing fitfully at the air, making constant growly sounds as his teeth find their way onto the bar, catching it to gnaw for a second out of reflex.
And, yes, those are definitely not the teeth of a small kitten.]
