Moohiru and Matsumoo

[It had been a few months since Karamatsu arrived in this world full of monsters, and just a month since he'd begun staying at the castle at the edge of Bavan. The palace, as he'd been warned about, doesn't really have as much going on in it as the keep does, but that doesn't bother him too much. He said he was going to stay in the palace, and he was sticking to it...even if there happen to be animals all over everywhere. Being alone thus far in this place (as far as having his family around is concerned), he finds comfort in being near someone he's come to know fairly well by now. Mahiru just so happens to be that lucky person.

So far though, Karamatsu hasn't started experiencing any of the horrifying, body altering changes that he's heard so much about. He'd been pretty blase about it, but if he's truly honest with himself, the thought of forcibly changing beyond his will or control is...unnerving, to say the least, especially since there's apparently nothing that can be done to stop it. However, it's shockingly easy to become accustomed to seeing people with animalistic or grotesque features that, after a while, it almost doesn't surprise him anymore.

Well. Almost.

Wherever Mahiru happens to be in the building right now, she'll hear an ear-piercing scream that echoes all the way down the hallway. Hopefully she's not in her room, because it's coming directly from Karamatsu's.
