[It was a normal day in the Matsuno household. If "normal" meant that the morning was supposed to begin with the strange sounds of...something scuffling around on the roof. That isn't entirely unusual either, though. There could be Pidove roosting up there, or a pair of Pachirisu chasing one another through the trees. Ever since arriving to this strange new world with strange new creatures, it was easier to accept the fact that they pretty much replaced the animals of home and roll with that. Most dogs back home didn't breathe fire, though, among other things.

So. A normal day. Except that scuffling just keeps getting louder and more insistent as the minutes tick by, moving from the back of the house closer to the front. It sounds heavier than something you might normally hear scurrying about, but light enough to not be a person up there.

At least until the sound of actual, heavy footfalls suddenly ring out as it sounds like someone is flat out running across the roof, and anyone near a window might hear someone shouting outside before the sound of something tumbling over up above is so loud and sudden that it causes things inside the house to tremble. And then, everything goes still.

So. Just a normal day.]
